or to get to Cold Spring Village in minutes!
Boating
- When in Cape May County , do as the locals do! Dozens
of boats leaving Cape May & Wildwood marinas every
day! Ride on an 80' schooner or an old fashioned paddle
boat. Enjoy dolphin & whale watching, sightseeing,

Fishing, &
Crabbing - Half day, full day, and night trips
available. Fish on the surf jetties and catch Flounder

Cape May Point
Lighthouse - Built in 1859 and newly restored.
The light flashes every 30 seconds and can be seen for
19 miles. If you can't climb the 199 steps, you can still
visit the maritime museum shop downstairs and learn about
life as a lighthouse keeper in the 1920s. 884-5404

- Stroll along the ocean front on Beach Ave. Check out
the stores and see how our famous salt water taffy is
made. Enjoy an evening of miniature golf and arcades.
Cape May Bird
Observatory - The Cape peninsula is the most
famous bird watching location in North America and one
of the planet's most celebrated migratory junctions. An
array of habitat types and a wealth of protected natural

May County Park & Zoo - Visit our nationally
acclaimed zoo or swing in the playgrounds at this 120
acre park and recreation grounds. Special programs and
concerts are sponsored by the park throughout the summer.

Inlet Lighthouse - This 19th century beacon of
safety has been restored and converted into a nautical

Higbee's Beach
Bird Sanctuary - Walk the dunes and observe the
flight of birds leaving and returning to their nests.
Historic Cold
Spring Village - 22 acres and 15 buildings (all
of which existed prior to the turn of the century). Authentically
garbed village crafters make history come alive as they
demonstrate age-old crafts using traditional tools, methods,
and materials. Many of the crafters will invite you to
become involved with their trade. Visit the shops, mini
museums, and dine at the Old Grange. Take a train ride

U.S.S. Atlantus
- Concrete ship from World War I which ran aground during
the storm of 1925 and has been there ever since. On Sunset
Beach (in front of the Atlantus), many people find "Cape
May Diamonds", pure quartz stones which can be polished

Mall - visit the Victorian shops & enjoy
