Bennet Bogs - This 27 acre site of unusual freshwater inland bogs is flooded winter through spring. View crayfish, butterflies, and plants in the summer & fall.

Bike and Foot Trail - 2 1/2 mile paved path is great for exercise or to get to Cold Spring Village in minutes!

Boating - When in Cape May County , do as the locals do! Dozens of boats leaving Cape May & Wildwood marinas every day! Ride on an 80' schooner or an old fashioned paddle boat. Enjoy dolphin & whale watching, sightseeing, or the fall of a beautiful sunset.

Fishing, & Crabbing - Half day, full day, and night trips available. Fish on the surf jetties and catch Flounder weakfish, & blues. No luck with your rod? Stop at one of our famous fish markets. Their fish is so fresh, no one will ever know!

Cape May Point Lighthouse - Built in 1859 and newly restored. The light flashes every 30 seconds and can be seen for 19 miles. If you can't climb the 199 steps, you can still visit the maritime museum shop downstairs and learn about life as a lighthouse keeper in the 1920s. 884-5404

Cape May Promenade - Stroll along the ocean front on Beach Ave. Check out the stores and see how our famous salt water taffy is made. Enjoy an evening of miniature golf and arcades.

Cape May Bird Observatory - The Cape peninsula is the most famous bird watching location in North America and one of the planet's most celebrated migratory junctions. An array of habitat types and a wealth of protected natural areas make Cape May a birding spot for all seasons. 884-2736

Cape May County Park & Zoo - Visit our nationally acclaimed zoo or swing in the playgrounds at this 120 acre park and recreation grounds. Fisherman's Wharf - Visit the exciting area where bountiful catches of fish and shell fish are brought in daily. Visit the world famous Cape May Lobster House Restaurant.

Golf - Several nationally acclaimed courses nearby including Cape May National, just 1 mile south.

Higbee's Beach Bird Sanctuary - Walk the dunes and observe the flight of birds leaving and returning to their nests.

Historic Cold Spring Village - 22 acres and 15 buildings (all of which existed prior to the turn of the century). Authentically garbed village crafters make history come alive as they demonstrate age-old crafts using traditional tools, methods, and materials. Many of the crafters will invite you to become involved with their trade. Visit the shops, mini museums, and dine at the Old Grange. Theaters - You have your choice of several - always showing your favorite movies

U.S.S. Atlantus - Concrete ship from World War I which ran aground during the storm of 1925 and has been there ever since. On Sunset Beach (in front of the Atlantus), many people find "Cape May Diamonds", pure quartz stones which can be polished and set into jewelry. 884-7079
